THE WAYS GOD SPEAKS

God speaks in four ways, which are through prayer, through others, through trials and temptations, and through the Holy Bible. Through prayer, God speaks if we pray in silence with our deepest heart and in humility. We should not tell God about things that we are proud of because God will exalts us if we humble. For example, God chose the tax collector's prayer rather than the pharisee's prayer because the tax collector prayed with his deepest heart about his sins. We also maintain our connection with God through our daily prayer. If we pray frequently, we will know God better and we will find how God speaks to us, like Christian who frequently prayed to God about his fear and God helped him to manage all his fear.

Through others, God will use other people as tools to help or teach us. For example, God used Nathan to remain David about his sin and evangelist helped Christian to go to the celestial city. We have to see all chances through our activities as God will show His plan through unexpected conditions. We should be thankful to God for helping us and we should learn how God works through others in our environment or life. Others will influence us and God can use it.

Through trials and temptations, God will use it to test us about our faith to Him, whether we totally believe in Him or not. For example, Christian chose the narrow and straight path rather than the other path who Formalist and Hypocrisy chose because he believed that God will help him though his trials and temptations. Christian believed about God's promise, which was the eternal life in the celestial city, and he continued his journey until the end. We must not easily give up, but keep trying and ask for God's help because God is probably testing our faith. God will not leave us alone through trials and temptations, but He will help us and we can hear He speaks to us.

Through the Holy Bible, God teaches us many good principles about our life. He used His words to teach us and He wants us to spread His words, like Josiah who founded the Holy Bible and spreaded the words, and also Christian who read the scroll and became joyful. Through reading the Holy Bible, we will find that God is speaking to us about the ways we should follow in order to live as His commands. We have to be sensitive in how God speaks to us because God can use many ways to do it.
